By accessing or using the website located at thousandoakssunrooms.com, or by contacting TOS Thousand Oaks Sunrooms ("we," "us," or "our") to request services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or request our services.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access our website or engage our services.
TOS Thousand Oaks Sunrooms is a sunroom contractor based in Thousand Oaks, CA. We design and build sunroom additions, four-season rooms, three-season rooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms, custom sunrooms, and related structures for residential properties. Our services are provided subject to a separate written contract signed by both parties before any work begins.
We reserve the right to decline any project request at our discretion.
All estimates provided by TOS Thousand Oaks Sunrooms are based on information available at the time of the estimate, including property conditions, scope of work, and current material costs. Estimates are not binding contracts. Final pricing is confirmed in a written project contract signed by both parties.
Actual project costs may differ from an initial estimate if the scope of work changes, unforeseen site conditions are discovered (such as subsurface obstructions or structural issues), or if material costs change significantly between the estimate and project start date. Any changes to the agreed scope or price will be documented in a written change order before additional work proceeds.
Project start dates are scheduled based on permit approval timelines, contractor availability, and other factors beyond our control. We will provide you with a project timeline before work begins and will communicate any significant changes.
Cancellation terms are set out in the written project contract. In general, if a customer cancels a project after a contract has been signed and permits have been applied for, costs already incurred - including permit fees, design work, and materials ordered - may be billed to the customer. Specific cancellation terms will be clearly stated in your written agreement.
Payment terms are set out in the written project contract and typically involve a deposit at contract signing, progress payments at defined project milestones, and a final payment upon substantial project completion. Accepted payment methods are listed in the written contract.
Late payments may be subject to a finance charge as specified in the contract. We reserve the right to suspend work on a project if agreed payments are not received by their due dates.
TOS Thousand Oaks Sunrooms will apply for required building permits as part of most projects. Permit fees are the responsibility of the customer and are either included in the contract price or billed as a pass-through cost. The customer is responsible for ensuring that any applicable HOA approvals are obtained, though we will assist with that process where feasible.
All work will be performed in accordance with applicable building codes and California Contractors State License Board requirements. We make no representations regarding HOA approval outcomes, as those decisions are made by the relevant homeowners association.
Any warranty on workmanship or materials will be specified in the written project contract. This website and any information provided through it are offered "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
